For the past couple of months I have been working on a project for my grandmother;  portraits of our family members to be compiled into one family tree piece.  It’s been so fun to make portraits of all the people I love so much.  Here are some of the works in progress.

Here is a portrait of my best friend Meg’s  dog Jennings.  

I was so happy to produce the album artwork for my friend Drunken Prayer’s newest album Into the Missionfield.  I received my advance copy a couple weeks back at the Fluff and Gravy pre-release show.  It’s really really really really good.   And although it doesn’t officially get released until February 7th, you can pre-order your copy here.

Tom Tom Magazine is all about female drummers and it is rad.

I’ll have portraits in issue number 7 coming out this winter.    The portraits are of two of my very most favorite female drummers; Emily Kingan from Lovers and Terah Beth from Hey Lover.

Country Portraits is the new exhibition of paper collage portraits from folk artist Marian Rose Lucas.  Her deep-rooted love of classic country music served as inspiration for this 36-piece survey.  Drawing from Appalachian, Bluegrass, Blues, Country & Western and Folk genres, Marian has captured the voices that have spoken to her loudest. The pieces are backed and framed with found barn wood, re-purposed from an old structure on the 100-acre property outside Sheridan, OR where Marian lives.

Flora and Fauna  -  small pieces priced between $30 and $50 will be available at Twill Clothing for the month of December with an opening reception on Friday December 10th, 5pm – 8pm.

Clay and I are getting ready to hang the show at Ristretto and will be having an opening reception Friday June 11th.
